This statement describes how:

processes your personal data. The statement is addressed to our existing and former customers and/or suppliers, interested parties and potential future customers and/or suppliers, as well as their respective shareholders, bodies and other employees.

 

I. PURPOSE OF THE DATA PROCESSING

We will process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to establish, manage and process the business relationship
  • to strengthen the existing business relationship or to develop a new business relationship, including information about our range of services And insofar as commissioned by the customer and/or supplier:
  • for order entry and order processing
  • to manage customer master data including customs procedures
  • for the creation and transmission of outgoing invoices & credit notes
  • for the processing of incoming invoices & credit notes
  • for the creation of payment transactions
  • for customs declaration and customs clearance
  • for the preparation of offers

Insofar as we collect your personal data from you, the provision of your data is generally voluntary.

 

II. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

If you are an interested party or potential future customer and/or supplier, we will only process your contact data for the purpose of direct advertising by sending electronic mail or contacting you by telephone with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
If you are our customer and/or supplier, we process your personal data because this is necessary to fulfill the contract concluded with you (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

 

III. ÜBERMITTLUNG DER PERSONENBEZOGENEN DATEN

Insofar as this is absolutely necessary for the purposes mentioned in point 1, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients:

  • IT service providers used by us and other service providers in the course of marketing activities
  • Public accountants for auditing purposes
  • Cooperation partners and legal representatives working for us
  • Insurance companies on the occasion of the conclusion of an insurance contract for the service or the occurrence of an insured event
  • Administrative authorities, courts and public bodies within the framework of the relevant legal bases (e.g. customs office)
  • To carriers and customs agents employed by us to fulfill the freight, customs or forwarding order received from you.

Some of the above recipients may be located outside Austria or process your personal data outside Austria. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. We therefore take measures to ensure that all recipients offer an appropriate level of data protection. For example, we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

 

IV. COLLECTION OF ACCESS DATA AND LOG FILES BY THE PROVIDER

Our provider (or the data center in which the website is hosted) collects the information provided by your Internet provider: in particular, the name of the website, the date/time of access, the amount of data transferred, the IP address assigned to you, the HTTP status code, information about the browser and operating system you are using, and – for statistical purposes only, whereby the individual user remains anonymous. The collection of this data is also necessary in order to be able to trace (possible) misuse and is therefore used for legal protection.

 

V. STORAGE PERIOD

We generally store your personal data until the termination of the business relationship in the context of which we have collected your data or until the expiry of the applicable statutory limitation and retention periods; in addition, until the termination of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence. If you are a customer and/or supplier, former customer and/or supplier, prospective or future customer and/or supplier or a contact person at one of the aforementioned, we will store your personal data for marketing purposes until you object or withdraw your consent, provided that the marketing measure is based on your consent.

 

VI. YOUR RIGHTS IN CONNECTION WITH PERSONAL DATA

You are entitled, among other things, to check whether and which personal data we process about you
and to receive copies of this data, to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data if it is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law, to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances or to revoke the consent previously given for the processing, whereby a revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before the revocation, to request data portability, to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transmitted if you are our customer and/or supplier and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
