NEW CUSTOMS AREA IN ÇATALCA

Built on 220 thousand square metres, the new Customs Terminal in Çatalca will replace the current one in Halkali. With a share of 10 % of Turkeys foreign sales, Halkali plays an important role, currently handling up to 700 trucks a day in Import and Export. Budgeted at approximately EUR 55 million, Çatalca is going to become a state of the art Customs Terminal with various warehouses over a total area of 60 thousand m² which will optimize these movements.
To expediate the workflow, Export and Import facilities are separated and operate independently of each other. Customs Terminals all over the world were visited and evaluted to combine all advantages so that Catalca may become one of the most efficient Customs Terminals ever.
